With so many gorgeous locations around Atlanta it can be hard to know what locations are free to use and which locations require a fee or if you are even allowed on the property at all. Before you decide on a location for your engagement photos it is always best to talk with your wedding photographer about the location.

Cator Woolford Gardens does ask that you pay a fee for using their amazingly beauiful gardens, but when you see these engagement photos below you will see why. So, why do locations charge a fee? Well, short answer.. us photographers ruin everything, haha. Ok, but really, spaces that are free to photograph on are generally overrun by photographers and not just wedding photographers, but family photographers, photographers photographing models, sports photographers, product photographers, etc. Believe it or not not everyone leaves spaces better than when they found them and especially with a space like a well manicured, I’m sure they pay people, garden space it helps maintain the property.

The eluisiveness of the space is also something to be desired plus we don’t have to fight other photographers for the best photo spots.
