What happens when your wedding location is your backyard and your backyard has rolling green grass and a huge pond and a wood bridge and dirt trails? You take your engagement photos there, too! Why wouldn’t you?! I couldn’t thank Christians' family enough for inviting me to their home and for letting me explore all the wedding day options.
Before we headed to the wedding location we stopped by a local park - Line Creek Park. The park was super cute and was in no short supply of spots to stop and take photos. This location was a suggestion from the couple! Normally, I get to offer up location ideas, but being that I don’t hang out in Peachtree City much they had more ideas than I did. Highly recommend checking out this local gem.

The water in the river was a little higher than we expected, but that didn’t stop us from exploring all the places. Once everyone was good and soaked we headed to the wedding location. When I tell you I was so surprised, man, I was so surprised. When a couple tells you they are having a “backyard wedding” that can literally mean anything. Having photographed a few myself I wasn’t sure what I was in for. Backyard wedding could mean big farm table dinner and outdoor dancing. Backyard wedding could mean a big tent and lots of tables. Backyard wedding could so many ideas to so many people.
What backyard wedding meant to Ashley and Christian is wedding ceremony under the tree in the background of these next few images, dinner under tents and dancing under the stars!

Can you believe this is their family backyard?! With property like this, I would so have my wedding there too!

I can’t wait to share their wedding day with you. It was literally so pretty, so perfect and exceeded all expectations I had for their day.
