If you haven’t heard of the Georgia wedding venue Fair Weather Farms, let me introduce you! This venue is stunning and the people are ah-mazing. Located in Monroe this premiere lodge can sleep over 12 and can house 200. All this and there is great little lake with dock, perfect for photos!
You can imagine my excitement when I was referred to Brittany and Robert for their wedding day. Getting to photograph at a wedding venue I have never been to before is literally like letting a kid run around unsupervised in a toy store. The possibilities are endless and the ideas are endless for any Atlanta Wedding Photographer.
The floor to ceiling windows provide the most amazing light for indoor and the most amazing reflections for outdoor portraits. The windows allow unique wedding photography imagery you can not get anywhere else.
One word: STUNNING! The wedding ceremony location Brittany and Robert chose for their special really fit them. Their guests sat looking out at the lake while the couple make lifetime vows to each other on the steps to this beautiful lodge.
So, did this couple have a first look? They did not. If you have read my blog “Should You Have A First Look” you will know I am PRO a first look - but I am also PRO you making your wedding day special. That’s just what this couple did. They opted to have a “first touch/prayer”. You can see from the images how special this was to their day.
The indoor reception space is so wide open and so rustic that you can make it your own. There are so many options and even a working fireplace for those cold Spring, Fall and Winter nights. Not to mention the bead board ceiling - SWOON! With cafe lights strung around the space it really makes for a romantic feeling and great for an extra pop of lighting for your wedding images.
I know I mentioned the lighting at this venue… but, can we talk about lighting!? haha, just kidding. As a Atlanta Wedding photographer I can say this venue is becoming a favorite of mine and I can’t wait to get back and photograph another couples special day at this wedding venue!
If you are newly engaged I highly recommend you checking out this venue. This April the venue is having an Open House! The Open House will be hosted on April 28, 2019 at 1pm. They will be presenting over 15 wedding vendors from photographers ( I will be there!), to DJs, to cake designers, to a mobile bar… you name, they are housing a vendor for it.
There will also be giveaways, deals and booking specials. I will have a special booking promo just for Fair Weather Farms brides!
